The Banjo also has a wide 17" cooking surface, along with a 30-PSI regulator, and it is made to fit under the Bayou Classic jambalaya kits. This cooker is gentle enough to slow cook stews, soup, jambalaya, or chili.

This is outstanding! It does use more propane, but that is to be expected.

The Banjo burner, is powerful enough to boil large pots of 20 gallons in a timely & efficient manner.

The workmanship is typical of Asian products, but better than expected. Lots of heat; way more than needed, though I use it all. I use burner under a coil to produce steam for bending wood. Other burners took too long to heat, and never had any reserve. No problem with the Bayou. Very pleased with performance!!

Mechanically it is not fitted as well as it could be. But, that burner does everything I need it to. We do a lot of canning, blanching etc. and this thing brings the heat when you need it and still has enough turn down on the burner to maintain 10psi on a pressure cooker. I believe it will be functional through my lifetime.
