We have been enjoying our pool, especially with the hot August weather that Virginia experienced earlier this month. We did have to set up the pool twice because what we thought was a level part of our yard turns out to be "dippier" than we realized due to the way the grass grows and is mowed. I'd suggest buying a few bags of leveling sand before you even take the pool out of the box. The video that comes with the pool was easy to follow and we have replayed sections as we progressed through the set-up stages. We experienced more severe weather than in previous summers and the pool's fabric and construction have held up fine. The cover that comes with the pool is not well constructed or durable. Take great care with the cover if you want it to last even part of the summer. The benefits of the pool for us have been: we don't have to drive to the community pool. We have especially strong swimmers and our pool is just the right size for them to practice their swimming techniques and gain some confidence; plus, having a pool means the kids in the neighborhood come to our house to play so it's easy to know where my kids are!
